Work Experience: • 20 years in the Yugoslav navy (1986-2006), • 7 years, as Electrical Engineer on cargo ships (2007-2014). • 1 Year as Chief Electrician on Cruise Ship Upon graduating in 1986, I started working as an electronics technician on a Diesel- electric submarine in the framework of the Yugoslav Navy. Advancing to the position of commander of electronics on diesel-electric submarine, I worked for 20 years. During that time, among other tasks related to electronics, I worked on the management and control of diesel-electric submarine propulsion as well as the charging and discharging of the battery.  So I have experience with AC to DC rectifiers and DC/AC Converters.  Also prior to my arrival in diesel-electric submarine, few years I worked as operator of mini electric submarine for rescue sunken submarines and performance of works under the sea. The mini-sub was an integral part of the ship to rescue the sunken submarine and works under the sea. It was a long time ago, but I can easily and quickly be able to remind myself and be capable to work on similar vessels. A career at merchant fleet I began 02.07. 2007th, on board MV CARELIA, Company: AHRENKIEL GROUP HAMBURG, where I was promoted to Electrical Engineer. From then until now I have served at several different ships within the same company. I had 12 contracts on 12 different ships.  Last my contract was on board MV AS CATALANIA 2014).  Contact for reference: Mrs. Susanne Petkovic. Mail: susanne.petkovic@ahrenkiel.net. Last year and presently I am working as Chief electrician on Cruise Ship TERE MOANA, PG Cruise Line Company under Wilhelmsen Ship- Management Company.  Office Split. The whole time I was the only one electrician on board. I worked independently and by the order of Chief Engineer and Superintendent.  My responsibilities were to maintain and repair electrically and electronics equipment from the engine room, across the deck, accommodation part and on the bridge. During those seven years, I have met with different types of Main engine and DG, various MSB and ESB and Bow thrusters, various Engine and deck machineries, Deck Cranes, various Navigation equipment and management systems.    I was worked on the large container ships that are due to transport reefers containers had a need for 4 or more DG,  each one with installed power 1500 KW and more. I was the only Electrician on board, so I was responsible for the production and distribution of all electricity on board.  During my work on the vessels, I had the opportunity to service and repair Bow Thruster motors with power capacity of several KW. Installed Voltage 6600 VAC.  I've never been a problem to successfully carry out repairs and routine maintenance on electrical equipment. As well being able to read drawings and instructions, I have the will and the ambition to quickly learn what is new on the ship in order to successfully perform my duty. I mean that I do not need to list all types of main engine, generators, navigational and other related equipment, because all electrical equipment on the ships have similar characteristics and purposes except perhaps 10-20%, which depends on the purpose of the ship. I am able to write all kind of reports, make requisition for spare parts and do all paper work as Electrical Engineer. As electronic technician I am qualified to maintenance and repairing sensible electronics equipment on board including Bridge and ECR equipment.  As an electrician on the ship, I always take all measures and actions in order to carry out work in a safe and secure way for both me and my work environment and as well as for the ship as a whole. After each contract in my presently and previous company I am received performance report. Each one are with maximum grade.
